Restaurants and commercial kitchens are some of the most demanding electrical environments out there. Heavy equipment loads, exhaust and make-up air systems, refrigeration that can't go down, and tight inspection requirements all have to come together before you can open the doors. As a licensed and insured electrical contractor, we handle restaurant fit-outs and kitchen electrical for new builds, renovations, and equipment changes across Toronto and eight surrounding municipalities. We wire dedicated circuits for ranges, ovens, fryers, dishwashers, walk-in coolers, and prep equipment, and we power and interlock kitchen exhaust and make-up air so the hood system meets code. We also handle the front-of-house side: lighting, POS and outlet circuits, signage, and patio power. We know that a delayed inspection or a failed final means a delayed opening, and that's lost revenue. So we wire to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code the first time, coordinate the ESA notification and inspection, and work with your general contractor, equipment supplier, and mechanical trades to keep the schedule on track.

How we work with businesses
We start with your equipment schedule and kitchen layout so every appliance gets the right circuit, voltage, and protection from day one. We confirm your panel and service can carry the full connected load, and flag an upgrade early if it can't, before it becomes a schedule problem. On site we coordinate closely with your general contractor, equipment supplier, and the mechanical trades handling the hood and refrigeration, so rough-in and final connections line up with their work. We wire to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, file the ESA notification, and coordinate the inspection so you're not waiting on paperwork at the finish line. Throughout, we keep you updated on what's done, what's next, and anything that could affect your opening date so there are no surprises.
Cost & scoping
Restaurant electrical pricing depends heavily on scope. A full new-build kitchen fit-out with a new panel, dozens of dedicated circuits, hood interlocks, and front-of-house work is very different from swapping in a few new appliances or fixing inspection deficiencies. The biggest cost drivers are the number and size of equipment circuits, whether your service and panel need upgrading, the condition of existing wiring in an older space, and how much mechanical interlock and controls work the hood system needs. We don't give fake quotes over the phone. After reviewing your equipment list and seeing the space, we provide an itemized written estimate and explain where costs can be staged or reduced. Prices vary by scope, site conditions, equipment specifications, and current material costs.
