Electrical emergencies don't keep business hours, and some can't wait. If you have a burning smell, sparking, scorched outlets or a breaker that trips the instant you reset it, those are signs of a genuine hazard and a real fire risk. We provide priority electrical service across Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, North York, Oakville, Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Markham and Vaughan, with same-day and after-hours appointments available depending on the day and demand. Call (289) 799-3802 and we'll confirm the soonest window we can reach you, rather than promising a guaranteed time we can't keep. We're a licensed and insured contractor, so every repair is done safely and to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, with an ESA permit pulled whenever the work requires one. If you smell burning, see smoke or flames, or suspect an active fire, leave the home and call 911 first. For a downed power line or a neighbourhood-wide outage, contact your local utility, since that part of the system is theirs to repair, not ours.

What's included

  • Priority diagnosis of the immediate hazard to make the situation safe first
  • Tracing partial or total power loss to the failed breaker, connection or circuit
  • Repair or replacement of failed breakers, outlets, switches and connections
  • Investigation of burning smells, scorch marks and overheating at the panel
  • Repair of breakers that trip repeatedly or won't reset due to a fault
  • Assessment of storm, water and surge damage to wiring and equipment
  • Safe isolation of a damaged circuit so the rest of the home stays powered
  • ESA permit pulled and inspection arranged when the repair requires one

Signs you may need this service

  • Outlets, switches or the panel are sparking, buzzing, warm or discoloured
  • A breaker trips immediately every time you try to reset it
  • Part or all of your home has lost power and it isn't a utility-wide outage
  • Storm, flooding or water has reached wiring, outlets or the panel
  • Lights flicker or dim across the house, or you've felt a shock from a fixture

How it works / what to expect

When you call (289) 799-3802, describe what's happening so we can gauge urgency and confirm the soonest available window, whether that's same-day or after-hours. If there's an active hazard, we may walk you through making things safe, such as shutting off a specific breaker, while we're en route. On arrival the first priority is removing the immediate danger: isolating a faulty circuit, killing power to a sparking outlet, or stabilizing an overheating panel. From there we diagnose the root cause rather than just resetting a breaker, then repair what we can on the spot. If a part needs ordering or a larger fix is required, we make the home safe, explain the options clearly, and schedule the follow-up. Permit-required work is documented with the ESA.

Cost factors in the GTA

Emergency electrical pricing reflects a few honest variables. After-hours, overnight and weekend calls generally cost more than the same work booked during regular hours, because of the priority response. The repair itself drives the rest: a single failed outlet or breaker is straightforward, while tracing an intermittent fault inside finished walls, or repairing water- and storm-damaged wiring, takes more time and materials. Panel work, replacing a damaged service, or any repair needing an ESA permit adds to the total. Parts availability matters too, since some breakers and components are specific to older panels. We give you a clear picture of the cost on-site once we've found the cause, and we won't quote a firm price blind over the phone.

Frequently asked questions

Are you available 24/7?
We offer same-day and after-hours service, but we don't promise guaranteed round-the-clock availability we can't keep. Call (289) 799-3802 and we'll tell you honestly the soonest window we can reach you. If there's an active fire, smoke or flames, leave the home and call 911 first.
My breaker keeps tripping and won't reset. What should I do?
A breaker that trips the moment you reset it is protecting you from a fault, so don't force it back on repeatedly. Leave it off and call us. Repeated tripping points to a short, an overloaded circuit or a failing breaker, all of which need to be diagnosed and repaired rather than reset.
I smell burning near an outlet but there's no smoke. Is it urgent?
Yes. A burning or hot-plastic smell from an outlet, switch or panel signals overheating, which is a fire risk even without visible smoke. Stop using that circuit, switch off its breaker if you can do so safely, and call us right away. If you see smoke or flames, leave and call 911.
The power is out. Is this something you fix or the utility?
If your whole neighbourhood is dark or a power line is down, that's your local utility's responsibility, so report it to them. If only your home or certain circuits have lost power while neighbours still have it, the fault is likely on your side of the meter, and that's exactly what we diagnose and repair.
